Club History

Sports club “Justitia” of Vilnius was registered at the registry office of Vilnius city municipality in 2001. Until then “Justitia” basketball team, the 1^st captain of which was the Prosecutor General of the newly restored Lithuania Artūras Paulauskas, was the only taking part in different sporting events.

In 2001 basketball players of “Justitia” participated in the tournament organized by European Federation of Company Sports in Riga for the first time and took the 5^th place among 22 competing teams. And the next year they became the winners of the analogous tournament in Pesaro. In 2003, when Lithuania was celebrating the 750th Anniversary of the coronation of the Lithuanian King Mindaugas, the same team took the 3^rd place in the international competition.

“Justitia” football team took the 2^nd place in the International Prosecutor’s Tournament in 2003 in Vilnius.

Members of the club also take part in chess and target practice competitions.
